It was a tough decision over the last few days since my birthday when myself and my amazing girlfriend for whom I affectionately call “Detective Bae” looked at all the entries, regardless of their rank to see what we thought. We then took a look at the highest ranked ones and were stuck. So we talked to a few pro’s in the industry back home, got a consensus thought about it some more, ate a burrito and made the decision.
The winner chosen by us was The Sajin! by Chris in South Korea!
While “Photos Below the 38th parallel” got more votes (only 2 more), we just thought that “The Sajin” had more ring to it with a unique sound to those who may not know the meaning of the word. It also ties both Korea and photography into the name in only a single word. So, we thought that this would roll off the tongue a little easier and be a little catchy at the same time.
Thank you everyone who submitted their suggestions and took the time to vote. I really appreciate all the help in choosing something that is probably one of the harder things about running a blog. I will be giving the blog a facelift very soon to go along with the new name. So pop in over the weekend and check out the changes!!

As the contributor of the 38th parallel name I’m surprised it got that many votes – I submitted 3 names I think and thought that was the weakest one. In any case I like your choice – simple and consise.

I was definitely thinking about that as well. It was one of the better ones!
