Sunday night I had the pleasure of meeting up with a great group of photographers from Busan known infamously as “The Busan Lightstalkers” the photo walk was put together by non-other-than Peter DeMarco, a man making a name for himself in the photography world.
One of the best things about this walk was that it was organized but relaxed. We were allowed to go about our business and take the shots that we wanted. It was great to start with some coffee at Cafe Luca, a photography based cafe near Sfunz and then head down to a photo exhibit.
It gave us all some much needed inspiration before hitting the beach. As we waited for the sun to go down, it gave us all a chance to chat and talk shop. I especially like the advice Peter gave me about earning an income from photography in Korea. I can tell you this, the man knows his stuff.
The final part of my photowalk was on top of the “Pale De CZ” building over looking the magnificent Haeundae Beach. I also just wanted to give a special shout to Ju-Seok Oh who leat me play around with his 5D. You can his awesome photos on his flickr site
Other than that, if you’d like to join the Busan Lightstalkers take a look at their facebook group page and contact them.
Also don’t forget about my campaign to sell photos to pay for an espresso machine. It is over in a few days and I am far from my target goal. Please click the button to help me out.Β
